Welcome to the Bob Miarer Auto Service website. Over the next month or so, we will be adding more features and content to provide you, our customers the best user friendly online experience we can. Our Yadkin Road location is ready and open to serve you some of the best vehicle maintenance and repair services in the Fayetteville and Fort Bragg area. To get an idea of who I am, I have jotted down some things that I am involved with in the community and favorite activities.

  • I have always been interested in how things work...Usually fixing anything that breaks around the house... 
  • My Dad was a mechanic and my grandfather a tool and die maker my ability to repair things must be in my genes!!
  • My wife has always called me the Car Doctor... 
  • From 1971 to 1974 my military career was in the 82nd Aviation Bn.
  • Worked 4 years in Management for The Spa Fitness Center. 
  • In 1979 I realized my path was going to be in the automobile industry...
  • I started with managing a Dyco Fast Lube center, the first of the fast lube's in Fayetteville. 
  • Then Wilson Yarborough, Jr.... owner of Yarborough Motor Company hired me.... I started in sales, then was promoted to Used Car Manager... At that time we held many franchises. Volvo, Jaguar, Renault, British Leland, Triumph, AMC, and Avanti.
  • In 1985 I made the decision to move on, It was a hard decision leaving Mr. Yarborough.  I was leaving a fine family.   
  • From 1985 to early 1988 I was in sales at Valley Auto World.... Valley held many franchises at that time. VW, BMW, Mazda, Saab, Mercedes Benz, Audi, and Porsche. Working for the Wyatt family was a honor. 
  • In 1988... I was offered a position with Acura to manage used cars.... Three months after being hired they saw my potential in getting cars fixed.... I was offered the position of Service Manager.... I was Service Manager for 22 years.... My staff and I enjoyed many years of success, winning Precision Team awards and establishing a good reputation for excellent customer service. 
  • September 2010 begins the next chapter in my life.  The Dream of having my own Auto Service Business has begun!! 
  • I know that the lord holds the keys to my success... This new opportunity is a thrill, and through the endeavors of my loyal friends and staff this new business venture will be a succes.
  • I enjoy playing Pool with friends and family...
  • Living A Good Health Life and Keeping Fit have always been important to me...
  • I'm always ready for a good game of Basketball..
  • Inline skating was a sport that I enjoyed...I read that  cross training with a bicycle was beneficial to help increase my endurance with skating...
  • I soon realized my passion for cycling...
  • For the past 12 years I have been an active Cyclist...(racing...time trials and Criteriums)..
  • Now I am a USA Cycling Licensed Official...
  • Seven Years  ago I helped start the Cross Creek Cycling Club...
  • I have been the Treasurer of C4 Cycling Club since the beginning....
  • Our club is very active with the Warrior Transition Battalion (WTB) on Fort Bragg .....
  • 4 years ago I offered to take a Blind Soldier for a ride on my Tandem Bike....
  • I have enjoyed being the Captain of the tandem team for several Blind Soldiers...
  • This Partnership has taken us to many national Wounded Warrior Cycling Fund-raising events...
  • I was honored to take Dexter Durrante and his Guide Dog "Shepard" to meet the President of the United States of America...  During this week we participated in the White House to the Light House Cycling Ride to Honor Disabled Soldiers...
  • Road to Recovery...Operation One Voice...Non Profit ...raising funds for Special Operation  Soldier's Families... Wounded Warrior Project Fundraisers...
  • Many Wonderful Memories have been shared through these events...
  • My Wife and I are on the Executive Board for The Bicycle Man....Moses Mathis founded this organization to provide bicycles to needy children at Christmas...last year over 1200 bikes were donated...plus Helmets...
  • Our business is a drop off area for people to donate their bikes to needy children...
  • For the past 4 years I have been a Cycling training coach for the local Special Olympics....Our cycling team went to the State competition several times...
  • I serve on the board of the Fayetteville Area Metropolitan  Planning Organization...and the Transportation Advisory Commission....
  • I am the Chairman of the Citizen's Advisory Commission...known as CAC...
  • Through my endeavors in these organizations I hope to help make Fayetteville's  Roads Safer for Health Conscience individuals...
  • I want to invite anyone interested in cycling to come ride with Me and  The C4 Cycling Club...
